The title of the Spa, SKY-LAND, is not accidental. Bill, my husband, and I live about ten miles from Shenandoah National Park where there is a Skyland Resort. It has a big, rustic lodge as well as motel rooms, cabins, and a restaurant. Bill and I go there often to hike the trails nearby and to eat in the restaurant which has expansive views of the Shenandoah Valley below.
The hyphen between SKY and LAND, SKY-LAND, also refers to my sense of the connection between Earth and Sky. It serves as a reminder that I am a conduit. The energy of both land and sky flow through me.
